Wear A Hat Day – 31 March 2017

Brain Tumour Research’s Wear a Hat Day is a smart idea; it works on so many levels. It’s so simple to get involved, wearing a hat feels great and you can raise vital funds at the same time.

Vivien Sheriff has been asked to design a charity brooch for Wear a Hat Day and is delighted to become more officially involved with the charity campaign.

The inspiration behind the brooch design is ‘Dressage’ – a classic Vivien Sheriff hat decorated with pheasant plumage contouring its sweeping brim. Vivien Sheriff joins past brooch designers and millinery luminaries Philip Treacy and Rachel Trevor Morgan by creating the third in the series of brooches for Brain Tumour Research.

“I feel privileged to apply my craft in this way, to help fund research that will save lives as more is discovered about this little understood cancer,” Vivien Sheriff.

The brooch designed by Vivien Sheriff is available now from Brain Tumour Research and each comes with its own certificate of authenticity. Only 500 will be produced. braintumourresearch.org/signature-brooches
