One of our defining brand partnerships has been with London’s quintessentially English yet thoroughly cosmopolitan luxury boutique hotel, Brown’s in Mayfair.
As a fellow Walpole British Luxury Member, Brown’s Hotel could see the potential in a cross-sector partnership with Vivien Sheriff.
Since 1937, Brown’s has been the place to be seen in London and we have been incredibly privileged to be able to shoot our seasonal campaigns within its hallowed five star walls.
Our photographer, designer and stylist were in their creative element when presented with the possibility of shooting anywhere in the hotel.
The shoots have not come without their challenges (styling a hat and outfit combination against the lavish décor of the Kipling Suite or shooting in the buzzing tea-room and bar areas, full of inquisitive guests) but each campaign has delivered its own distinctive imagery, that sum up our continuing connection and partnership with Brown’s Mayfair.
The ‘hat tree’ with an overarching and imposing branch sculpture, was interwoven with rare flowers and even rarer Vivien Sheriff headpieces from our SS16 collection.
It’s fair to say it caused quite a stir amongst the hotel’s constant flow of guests, lots of them in England especially for Royal Ascot.
We then ran a social media competition wherein guests posted an image of the ‘hat tree’ display, with the best image winning a Vivien Sheriff headpiece.
